Situated in the coastal community of Costa Mesa, CA, PACE Recovery Center proudly serves clients recovering from substance misuse and co-occurring mental or behavioral illness. PACE’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is administered by a highly trained team of physicians, doctorate-level clinicians and master-level therapists. Depending on a client’s medical history and substance abuse history, outpatient programming may include group and individual therapy, 12-step programming, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), experiential therapy, and dedicated case management services.
Dual-Diagnosis Conditions We Treat
Co-occurring disorders are a chicken-and-egg conundrum. At times, substance misuse leads to mental instability. In other cases, mood disorders and behavioral conditions cause an individual to turn to drugs or alcohol for an escape. Either way, substance misuse and behavioral disorders must be treated simultaneously to have the best chance at success. At PACE Recovery’s gender-specific IOP, men have the opportunity to attend part-time treatment while living independently and managing their educational, professional or family responsibilities.
Our Orange County IOP treats these conditions and more:
- Drug or Alcohol Dependence
- Severe Depression
- Anxiety Disorder
- Mal-Ordered Eating
- Bipolar Disorder
- Personality Disorder
- Anti-Social Personality Disorder
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Panic Attacks
- Sexual, Physical, Verbal, & Emotional Trauma or Abuse
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Orange County IOP Therapy Services
Beginning with a biospsychosocial assessment, PACE practitioners develop a deep understanding of a client’s substance misuse patterns and mental health history. We help dual-diagnosis clients maintain continuity of care and appropriate medication monitoring. Our men-only therapy environment promotes a sense of security and allows participants to share openly, without fear of judgment or social pressures.
Benefits of PACE IOP Facility
PACE IOP is an inviting, sophisticated environment where outpatients take part in integrated therapy programs and experiential treatments like yoga, mindfulness and meditation. Our cutting-edge facility is beautifully appointed, with spaces ideal for group meetings, one-to-one therapy sessions, fellowship and recreation, and shared dining. IOP clients are assigned to a case manager who follows their progress, assists with life skills training and helps them achieve their relational, professional and educational goals.
